Zero’s Emit/Collect was released 5 whole years ago and the Rennie Pilgrem remix was without doubt one of the largest breaks tracks ever. It got hammered by pretty much every breaks dj like the Plumps, Stantons, etc through to all the big house Jocks including Tiesto, Jules and Oakenfold. The Streetwise Recordings bosses have now decided to call it at day and retire into a life of luxury on their very own South Pacific island bought on the profits from the breaks scene over the past 6 years and to mark their farewell from the scene they have commissioned some tasty remixes of the labels biggest tune for your delight. These remixes are not just rehashes of the classic track but completely fresh retakes on the tune. First up the mighty ‘Coburn’ interrupt the program by teaming up with Anne Savage in her Dumb Blonde guise to deliver a housey breaks crossover that sounds like an ice cream man on acid has got inside your head and is squeezing your brains out of your ear. On the flip Streetwise favourites, ‘Precision Cuts’, weave their beautiful magic taking the track deeper than the Marianas Trench resulting in a piece of sublime music so divine that groups of monks in the Himalayas have actually started to use it for ceremonial purposes. Already gaining massive support from just a few leaked TPS, Plays from: Plump Djs, Stanton Warriors, Coburn, Adam Freeland, Rennie Pilgrem, Precision Cuts, Giles Peterson Anne Savege,Rob Da Bank, Tayo, Koma and Bones,Bushwacka, Will Saul, Evil Nine, Hyper. These mixes are sure to be hot for the summer and a fitting end to one of the scenes most prolific and successful labels of the past few years. From all the crew at Streetwise Recordings, THANKYOU AND GOODNIGHT.
