Davide Squillace has delivered a groove based three track tech/house EP. The A Side track “Sukkin Mutik” is a percolating affair that is as groovy as you will find. The track is filled with various sound effects and tweaks but the groove just stays constant. It goes through various peeks and valleys, but this track is pure dancefloor. B1 is “Do U Lynch” which is built on a rolling bassline and a cleverly used vocal sample track. Davide once again uses various tweaked out sound effects to create the tension and builds in this track. When you least expect it, Davide does a sneaky build and then changes the groove like that. This will drive the floor nuts. On “Nasty In The Pasty”, Davide once againg goes into his back of tricks layering various sounds to create a rolling tech/house gem. He once again cleverly places a vocal sample in this hypnotic affair. Three diversified tracks that should be in every DJ’s box.
