Limited to 500 handstamped limited edition 7” vinyl single. This cover of ‘On Christmas Morning’, originally by Kenny Loggins, is a lovely sweet little tune that will fill your heart with all the joy of the festive season. Clara Hill’s acclaimed new album ‘Sideways’ just came out on Sonar Kollektiv and Dutchman Benny Sings also released his new album ‘Benny... At Home’, on Sonar Kollektiv earlier this year. Kenny Loggins’ songs have featured on the soundtracks of some of the biggest films, including ‘Footloose’ and ‘Rocky IV’. Most notably, his hit ‘Danger Zone’ appeared in ‘Top Gun’ (produced by Giorgio Moroder). He played at Live Aid along with Paul McCartney, David Bowie and Bob Dylan. ‘On Christmas Morning’ comes from his 1998 Christmas album ‘December’. Clara Hill and Benny Sings have woven their vocal magic and production talents into the track to make it a fine version of the seasonal tune while Roskow from Jazzanova did the final production in his Berlin studio. This sweet little song is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face around Christmas time this year and is the perfect stocking filler for loved ones. The combination of Hill’s and Sings’ voices is a great match, and the addition of jingle bells and glockenspiel gives this number a truly authentic festive feel. This recording is exclusive to this release and available on handstamped limited edition 7” vinyl making it a bit of a collector’s item - something very special to be treasured and shared. As a special Christmas gift, Axel Reinemer (Jazzanova / Extended Spirit) recorded the SK office staff singing along on the flipside.
