"Limited Edition Picture Disc" The latest single to be lifted from Dave 1 and P. Thug's spectacularly tasteless Fancy Footwork album, 'Bonafied Lovin' has to rank as one of the duo's finest moments, fusing all right (or more accurately, wrong) elements of their sound into a single jolt of pop music tyranny. The dubious melange of in-your-face synth stabs and plinkety-plonk electric piano leads are as horrific as they are memorable, and the chorus is guaranteed to raise a cringe every time you give it a spin. This picture disc format includes the radio edit of the track and a remix by hipster Parisian electro-rockers The Teenagers who preserve key elements like the vocal and certain riffs, whilst restructuring the track into something wholly more palatable, which to many listeners will probably be defying the whole point of this exercise in heroic bad taste.
