The epic battle begins as a monstrous synth bassline pulls back heavily on a relentless cymbal-driven beat. Will the student prove himself worthy, or will the master show that he still has much to learn? Lady Dub takes roots reggae elements and infuses sultry soulful vocals. When you hear that twisting siren, hold your breath, beat two drops the sub-bass bomb like a ton of bricks. In true dub fashion, syncopated horn stabs echo out over a minimal drum beat, while a sexy vocal lyric floats somewhere in between. This incredibly deep & rugged trip cannot be missed. The third track brings production layering to a new level. Outback begins with a spark that ignites a flurry of polyrhythmic percussion, driving the smoldering bass below. Aboriginal sounds accompany gritty synth filaments flickering back and forth. This multi-faceted creation will surely keep the dancefloor embers glowing til the needle hits the lock groove.
