Graham Goodwin aka Sian is a Dublin native raised gypsy style in southern Spain. As a self confessed workaholic-spaced-out-nature-junkie’, his commitment to the avant garde lifestyle has seen him grace decks at the best clubs and festivals in the world. He’s also released two albums and many singles on labels as diverse as Pokerflat, Dessous, Karmarouge, Dirtcrew, Octopus, Sci & tek, Defrag and Einmaleins. Most recently his hit remixes of Gui Boratto and Vegetable Orchestra have found their way into the crates of Europe’s finest DJs. We see two melodic shades of Sian on his 4th release for Aus. On Red Cloud his delicate and wistful chords provide a haunting backdrop for his trademark undulating grooves. For World Within A World Sian steps into new territory and provides an instantly recognizable lead melody that breaks from the heads down 6am techno rhythm and drones that propel the track forward to provide a moment of euphoria. Minilogue turn in a truly epic remix that is hypnotic in the truest sense of its techno meaning. Few acts can make a 12 min arrangement so captivating. The gradual and constant changing of few elements builds and releases tension perfectly whilst the subtle detail in the organic percussion combined with the eerie melody acts to unsettle yet engage. A tribal trip if ever there was one.… Minilogue are the Swedish duo who have released on such luminary labels as Wagon Repair, Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels and Traum Schallplatten. They have recently received critical acclaim for their artist album ‘Animals’ and jazz fusion album as IMPS on Japan’s Mule imprint.
