The newly re-launched Fat! Records continue from where they left off with this forward thinking release from Randomer & Fife. Too Many Times sees Rhodes stabs and a super-slick vocal cut ride a bassline that, coupled with the high- energy percussion, builds to a deceptively furious peak before releasing a soaring synth-line that will no doubt strike a chord with fans of Sbtrkt and Joy Orbison. Slum City is an altogether tougher affair with its heavyweight percussion and bass bin punishing drop, yet it once again defies pigeonholing with its blissed-out breaks and vocoder. Futuristic banger!
